Global Care Quest was incubated in the research lab of UCLA Medical Center, driven by the physicians’ need to quickly access clinical data from disparate sources within the hospital system. The solutions developed include SurgeonConnect™ and Clinical Command & Control™ information systems (previously referred to as ICIS™) with mobile access capabilities.

Global Care Quest is now a division of KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc. A global leader in operating room integration, KARL STORZ offers the OR1® integration solution that provides centralized icon-based control of medical devices and OR systems.
